October Inside Scoop
Project Spotlight
From April to July this year, we collaborated with the Merton Borough of Sport team to design and facilitate their first Theory of Change: a structured, inclusive process that reflected both the local context and wider sector insights. This work is just the beginning for Merton’s Borough of Sport, and we’re excited to see how the framework continues to shape partnerships, investment, and impact for years to come.
Project Spotlight
As part of Sport England’s Place Expansion Programme, we supported London Sport to engage with local residents across Brent’s Stonebridge, St Raphael’s, and Church End neighbourhoods.

The resulting Insights Report highlights clear, actionable insights for London Sport and the Brent Physical Activity Place Partnership to shape future investment and community-led initiatives based on what local people want. We can’t wait to see it come to life!
New Client
We are excited to announce we’re partnering with Get Berkshire Active on governance and leadership: clearer roles, faster decisions, and a board setup that supports delivery. The aim is simple: more momentum and measurable impact across Berkshire and we are looking forward to getting started.
The Collective Conversation
We launched our Collective Thought Leadership series, where members share what really works (and what doesn’t) in sport and social impact.
First up: Vicky Lowe and Elizabeth Stanton’s piece, “Community-Led Investment: Stop the Hype, Start Doing It Properly.” Seven realities, one challenge: move past the buzzword and do the work properly. Read more here!
Next in the series...
Ruth Shaw OBE and Rebecca Dance-Shuker explore sustainable sport ecosystems, with a big focus on ESGs. Did you know our Collective includes ESG specialists?
Keep an eye out for their piece in the coming weeks!
